How to book and important things to know:
We accept bookings per e-mail but we need prepayment (Visa or Master). We only need the Credit Card Number and the expiration date and a statement that you authorize us to charge the fare. Published prices are one way fares and apply for roundtrip, multiple destination or combination (regular flight + flightexcursion) bookings. For one way tickets add U$ 30.00 + 16 % pp.
Baggage allowance: 1 Carry-on baggage per passenger plus personal items are free of charge. All other bigger pieces pay U$ 10.00 each. You can pay for your baggage when you buy your ticket or pay in cash before check in. In case you pay in cash before check in please have the right amount in US$ ready.
No discounts for children - although infants (= less than 2 years old) are free (infants do not have an own seat – they go on the legs of their parents)
You have to be aware that our cancellation policy is: No refund in case of NO SHOW or when cancelled or changed 24 hours before scheduled departure time. 50 % refund when cancelled or changed between 24 and 48 hours before scheduled departure time. 100 % refund in case of cancellation before 48 hours of scheduled departure time. You can buy an insurance for U$ 20.00 for possible delayed international arrivals. In case your international flight is more than 30 min. delayed and you would not be on time to catch our domestic flight we will refund your money.
Prices may change because of unstable fuel prices. Price changes will not apply for already bought tickets.
There will always be a slight difference between the amount you authorize us to charge and the actual amount you will see on your CC statement. We cannot charge in US$ but only in RD$ Pesos (the local currency). We have to apply an exchange rate which allows us to compensate for exchange rate variations and allows us to buy the US$ with the Pesos amount we charge from your CC. Please be 30 min. before scheduled departure time at the airport and ask for a representative of Takeoff:
in Punta Cana at domestic terminal (= about 0.5 miles to the west of international terminal, - we recommend to take a cab – they charge U$ 5.00)
in Puerto Plata at domestic terminal (it is the same terminal as international – just go to the left where the taxi station is)
in El Portillo (we have an own counter there – this airport is only domestic and operates only during daylight hours – ask for Ralphy or Audin)
in Santo Domingo – Las Americas (if you arrive with and international flight look out for Dario, Victorino or Camilo – they are looking for you with a sign of Takeoff – in case you don’t see them go to the second floor with the electric chairs and ask for them at the general information counter (“Servicio al Cliente”) – it is right in the middle and easy to find.). If you arrive by car then go to the second floor to “Servicios al Cliente”)
in La Romana at domestic terminal (it is to the left of the international terminal and it is only 3 min. to walk – ask there for Dany)
If you reserve per mail – then PLEASE – use the same mail (reply option) for all communications – there are clients they use the new mail option or use different mail addresses instead of using the reply option for inquiries and don’t realize that they get me totally crazy. – We have about up to 100 mails daily to work on and to answer – I need to know what we talked about in former mails – so NEVER - NEVER switch to NEW MAIL or change your mail adress when you figure something out with us. Sometimes mails are a bit tricky and don’t arrive because of the Junk mail filter. So – if you don’t hear from us within 48 hours then please call the office (809-552-1333) and check out your reservation status.
